Job Scam

I received an email yesterday concerning a job application from Horváth & Partners Group. After a brief online interview, I was HIRED! Then Marc C. Radford asked for my home address and cell number. Also, to set up Wire App on my computer where he'd text me instructions. I was to report at 8 AM next day and receive further instructions. Today @ 8AM, got text stating a FedEx delivery would arrive with a check to purchase materials/software for the job. So at 9AM, FedEx arrived with check for $4850. I was then instructed to go to an ATM and deposit the check. It wouldn't work and I had to do it inside. I deposited it into my checking account.

Then I was instructed to go to the ATM and withdraw $2850. I did so. Then find the nearest Bitcoin (BTC) ATM machine. I was instructed to deposit the money into the ATM. Luckily, I decided to register and that took 15 minutes. In the meantime, I received a call from the BTC registration and told him what was going on. He said it was a scam and has seen it before. People cash the check and it bounces 3 days later, meanwhile the BTC ATM transaction already went through and there’s no way to recover it. Considering I did not fill out employment applications, or a W-4, I suspect he’s right.

Luckily, my deciding to register through the BTC ATM, and along with the armored truck that showed up and emptied the machine, probably saved me. That 15-minute delay allowed the BTC ATM registration to reject the registration and save my account. This is the most elaborate Bitcoin scams I’ve ever seen. Repost this and alert others to this scam. A legitimate business will NOT buy software using Bitcoin. If they insist, run the other direction!

I’ve attached the BTC address along with this post. Let’s share the news and alert others to this scam! Don’t be a victim like I almost was! It’s a shame that people have gotten so low that they would prey on others like this. Help spread the news and don’t be a victim!
