Bitbase pro scam
Apr 26th, 21
I met a guy on social app in the beginning of April. He told me that there was this app called "Bitbase Pro" that you can make money through Bitcoin. He showed me how to operate, and I was able to make some money in the beginning following his instructions. He taught me how to operate, and the app looked really normal. He and the platform scammed me almost $42k, and some people got scammed even more. He's been directing me on Whatsapp, and his whatsapp number is +1607-303-3002, and the other number is +1778-817-1362. He used to send me a picture of himself on the social app, and later I realized that that was a fake picture, and the real photo might be the one associated with his whatsapp profile photo with number 7788171362. The app he's been showing me is called "Bitbase Pro, " which can be downloaded here : https://hyhy.pj2nnas.xyz/app.php/MjI0. The app/broker has tried to use two ways to get your money: Firstly, they provide a bonus when investing above a particular amount. They told me to deposit $5000 and then $10000, and eventually $50,000. Secondly, they ask for many kinds of advanced fee (like tax, transaction fee, etc.) to delay your withdrawal. Now I've already put in $41979 in this app, and I was not able to withdraw my money. I cannot get any money back. This app has scammed people from all over the world, including Americans, people from Indonesia, Vietnam, etc. The money involved should reach millions of dollars. The app sent us an email about the App on April 23rd, telling us to update the app, with everyone's email on it. Someone immediately sent us an email telling us that this app is a fraud. And then we started an email thread, realizing that all of us have been scammed, and someone even got scammed for almost 300k dollars. It is getting more and more serious, and the scammers might have known that they have exposed, and they are probably going to escape with our money. This is an international fraud, and I don't know whether things will be solved through the US police department. The bank account they were using is a Chinese bank account, and a Hong Kong bank account. I have been using the bitcoin account to send them money, and their bitcoin address includes : 39xqyoxspy3c9H5HrRtHxUS73QmYR2EnaR, 39y6X3RG22ZiXw7GiJD5pwAZwPVqrNy4ep. A lot of people have been scammed, and they also provided a Bank Of China bank account and another account of a Bank in China: Postal Savings Bank of China , and the account number is 6221804580001871362. They also sent me a Hong Kong account:
