Scammer hacked the Instagram account of someone I know and lured us to send R1000 via moonpay. Once money is sent, I was redirected to the "company manager" on whatsapp who is based in Nigeria. This man claims he has made your R1000 on bitcoin into R10 000 but you need to pay an additional R1000 to get a bitcoin card to withdraw the money. Which is an absolute lie because that's now how bitcoin works.

as of today; I have invested in bitcoin with this company in promise of good returns and have not received one dime. I keep on getting the run around and is asked to send in more money to cover all sorts of fees in order to cash in.
