I have an entire message thread from this person on Instagram who tricked me into “investing” $4,100.00 worth of bitcoin to use to mine for a 10x return. 2k investment and another 2k to cover mining fees. They promised 20k from the 2k. Had me sign up for an account at www.expertcryptocoinmining.com. They hacked my friends Instagram to make a post flaunting a bunch of cash and referring to this profile (Vanessa_hfx). When I asked “my friend” if it was real, he said yes. Only it wasn’t my friend. It was a hacker. “Vanessa,” walked me through this whole process and after all money was sent, my friend stopped responding to my messages and wouldn’t answer calls on Instagram. I finally received an audio call from his profile, but it was an automated recording of a gal named “Vanessa” calling about my cars extended warranty. It was then I realized I had been scammed. This person is still actively scamming people, as I have been tracking their wallet activity. Please do something so people can stop losing money to this person.
